Seeking a fast-paced, high-level trauma center to utilize your skills in critical care and trauma surgery? The trauma team at CoxHealth is seeking a BC/BE General and Critical Care surgeon to extend high-level care provided to the patients in southwest Missouri. The position would provide acute care surgery, on-call general surgery and critical care management services to a Level I trauma center in Springfield, Missouri.

New partners would join a large team of general surgeons and subspecialty surgeons serving a large tertiary care center, Cox South hospital. The team is currently staffed by three trauma/critical care surgeons with assistance from physician extenders. Call 1:6. We offer great employment benefits, great partners and a well-developed medical community to jumpstart your career.
