Ozarks Dialysis Services of CoxHealth is a not-for-profit, hospital-based outpatient chronic maintenance dialysis service offering quality customer care.

Ozarks Dialysis Services maintains an experienced dialysis nursing staff, with a desirable staff to patient ratio, that represents well over 130 years of combined experience and many have specialty certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN, CDN). Our patient care dialysis technicians are nationally certified as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Hemodialysis Treatment

We offer maintenance outpatient hemodialysis treatments using single-use dialyzers on Fresenius machines offered at two locations:

Home Daily Dialysis

We provide patients on home daily dialysis with training and professional support services 24/7 for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD), automated peritoneal dialysis (APD), and home hemodialysis at:

Awards & Achievements

Ozarks Dialysis Services exceeds national goals for dialysis as established by the National Kidney Foundation. Our dialysis facilites have consistently exceeded nationally recognized goals for dialysis adequacy and awards received related to vascular fistula access goals. Our established dialysis facility has been continuously providing dialysis in the four-state area (southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma, southeastern Kansas) since the late 1960s.

We offer personalized training and support for Nx-Stage Home Hemodialysis - an exclusive service in greater Springfield area using portable system with water processing unit.

The ODS Peritoneal Dialysis Unit is one of three facilities in the United States to receive the prestigious STAR CENTER award from Baxter Healthcare Corporation (November 2007). This award is based on five criteria:

• Nurse-to-patient ratio
• Establishment of a formal chronic kidney disease education program and a method to track results
• Focus on clinical care goals related to peritoneal dialysis treatment adequacy and infection management
• Establishment of a consistent approach to peritoneal dialysis training
• Minimum requirements for managing peritoneal dialysis catheter success.
